As a writer of children’s books, I was featured on a short segment on KUTV’s “Eye on Utah.”

Here is the link to my segment on KSL Television Studio 5 with Brooke Walker in May 2025.

BestsellerThe LDS Grandparents’ Idea Book

The LDS Grandparents’ Idea Book was a bestseller for Deseret Book. I was featured as a speaker on many occasions in large and small conferences, including a state-wide senator’s conference focusing on grandparenting. In addition, I participated in several different segments on KSL’s Studio 5 with Brooke Walker. A number of my grandchildren joined in each segment.

One of the Studio 5 segments was partially filmed at our home. This activity included cooking homemade pretzels with the grandchildren.

This Studio 5 segment included crowning Grandpa and Grandma and giving personalized gifts.

Three granddaughters joined me on the set for one of the Studio 5 segments. This segment focused on things we can do to share our skills with our grandchildren. The little girls modeled the dresses and skirt I made for each of them. The studio staff generously favored the girls with donuts as a snack while they waited for their turn to be on the program.

I was featured as a guest speaker on many occasions in large and small conferences. At one event, due to a threat to harm me, for my safety, I spoke wearing a bullet-proof vest and a plain-clothed policeman patrolled the event. In addition to conferences, I was on television and radio multiple times.

Naomi Judd and I were guest speakers at a senator’s conference for women. After the event, Naomi and I exchanged books we wrote.
